Since my first days in college journalism classes, I dreamed about starting my own writing business. My dream became my reality in 2003 when my career path led me down a new road toward HMW Communications. Today, I am very honored to provide writing, editing, marketing communications and public relations services to my clients. I earned my bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin and have spent my entire career focusing on communications. I gained terrific experience through my time as an in-house communications professional. Over the past two decades, I've worked with businesses in the health care, education, association, aviation, energy, non-profit, meeting planning and facility management industries. HMW Communications is not something I do for extra income or when I have free time -- it is my only business. I'm not a freelance writer as a stop-gap measure until I find a "real job."
